Android Studio Emulator Crashes Mac

In my case, that problem is about permissions. If you open android studio as administrator (or using sudo) then if you open the project again as normal user, android studio may not delete some files because when you open the project as administrator, some project files permissions are changed. In AVD manager open settings for your virtual device. In the Emulated Performance section open the dropdown for Graphics. Change it from Automatic to Software. Hit the Finish button to save new setting and try starting the emulator again. The Android Studio 2.0 (or higher) preview includes the new Android Emulator 2.0 with improved performance and a new user interface to control device features. This page describes some of the changes compared to the emulator available with the stable version of Android Studio 1.5 and how to setup your development environment to use the Android.
